Different types of Face Cleansers

What types of facial cleansers do we offer?

• Anhydrous cleansers
• Oil-based cleansers
• Oil-based gel/melt cleansers
• Lotion cleansers
• Exfoliating lotion cleansers

Our anhydrous cleansers are the standard facial cleansers that contain water and surfactants.  They are gentle and mild foaming, containing extracts and actives for your skin.  As the name indicates, our oil-based and oil-based gel/melt cleansers contain oils rather than water.  They do not contain surfactants in them.  They can remove makeup, dirt, and debris from your skin without stripping the skin’s natural oils or leaving it feeling irritated.  Also, oil-based cleansers are a bit more moisturizing to the skin, leaving your skin with a little bit of an oil feel afterward.  A little bit goes a long way with oil-based cleansers.

Last, we have cleansing lotions and exfoliating cleansing lotions.  These are wash-off cleansers, and they can sometimes contain surfactants.  They will also remove makeup, dirt, and debris from your skin, leaving it feeling moisturized due to the oils used. Exfoliating cleansing lotions are the same with just the added exfoliation to them.

Now you can try a different facial cleanser and see which one you like.  If you don’t want to use moisturizing creams or lotions after you wash your face but tend to need one still, an oil-based cleanser might work best in this case or even a cleansing lotion.  The new cleansers will be added to the store shortly.  However, if you are local, you can purchase one in the shop.  @A Little Bit of Local.
