Greetings! I’m Tracee, the founder of Obsidien’s Boutique. This journey started in 2010, as a little side business. I’ve had issues with soaps, shampoos, creams, lotions, for years. No one wants dry itchy skin or rashes all over because their body reacted to an ingredient.
I spent a lot of time searching DIY sites for recipes for body butter, scrubs, and other products, only to find that most of the recipes didn’t work for me, didn’t end up like the picture on the website, or other issues.
This was frustrating because I didn’t understand what I was doing wrong. I spent so much time trying to recreate recipes that other people were posting, but I finally decided to stop searching and start learning.
What I wanted for Obsidien’s Boutique were products that were formulated from scratch with about 3-4 key ingredients that were essential and beneficial in the products. I received my Diploma in Natural Haircare and Skincare Formulations, and took those skills and started making products that have high amounts of key ingredients. The ingredients are made from natural and certified organic raw ingredients and are free of harsh petrochemicals, synthetics, and parabens. I want to give you products that you feel safe putting on your skin and hair, while understanding the ingredient list with ease!
Hi y’all. I’m Tracee’s sidekick, Tania B. Tra and I have been friends since Barbara Mandrell and her sisters were topping the charts. She is the person who has the idea and I help bring it to fruition and we do it with joy and lots of laughter.
When she asked me to help her with Obsidien’s Boutique, I didn’t hesitate. I enjoy being on this journey with her.
I’m the organizer to her vivacious spirit.
